Lynch led the Palos Verdes boys volleyball team to a breakthrough season this year. PV achieved a pair of firsts with senior star Brad Maricle leading the way. PV beat Mira Costa for the first time ever (the teams split two Bay League matches), and the Sea Kings reached their first-ever CIF Southern Section Division I quarterfinal. PV also went 10-0 at home. The Sea Kings beat ranked teams like San Clemente and Newbury Park during the course of their season, and had star players and role players step up when needed. The UC Santa Barbara-bound Maricle became PV’s third AVCA All-American in the last five years under Lynch, joining Andy Benesh (USC) and Cole Fiers (Stanford). The program has produced more than 20 players in the last eight years who went on to play college volleyball.

Congratulations Brad Maricle and Outstanding Boys’ Players
PVHS Boys’ Volleyball Varsity Seniors 2016
Congratulations to Brad Maricle on being selected to the 2016 AVCA All-American Second Team. Brad is the third AVCA All American from Palos Verdes Boy’s Volleyball to be awarded this honor.
In addition, 4 boys were selected to the 2016 All Bay League Team, Jack Lynch and Lane Krai 1st team and Chris McBee and Max Minshull 2nd team.
The 2016 Bay League’s Most Outstanding Player was awarded to Brad Maricle.

Congratulations to Boys’ Volleyball Team
Congratulations to PV Boys’ Volleyball on their season. They lost to Beckman in the quarter finals of Division 1, CIF.
They finished the season 27-8 overall.
Boys JV and FS Teams – Congratulations on Wins!
Go Sea Kings!
Our JV team won the Valley Christian/St. John Bosco Tournament on Saturday, April 18th. They beat Long Beach Millikan in the finals. Matt Usui was named MVP, All Tournament Team were Brad Johnson and Johnny Hunter.
The FS team won the Silver Division in the tournament also.
