Peter has played volleyball for 35 years, both on the beach and indoors. He retired from the corporate world and is now in his 8th year coaching boys’ club volleyball, his 3rd year coaching boys’ high school volleyball, and his 1st year as head coach at Palos Verdes High School. Peter’s goals are to build the best team possible through hard work, good sportsmanship, and teamwork to compete for this year’s league title.

Victoria Dennis

Victoria played for the UC Irvine Women’s Volleyball team and for 2 seasons, professionally in Lima, Peru. On the indoor off season, she played on the US AVP women’s beach volleyball circuit.
She has experience coaching indoor and beach volleyball teams since 2016 and looks forward to a successful season this year.

Eric Ackerman

Eric grew up in Manhattan Beach and has been playing volleyball for over 45 years. He has coached boys’ and girls’ volleyball for over 30 years.
He has coached boys and girls at all levels—varsity, JV, and frosh—and as a head coach, he won the Pioneer League championship as well as had three teams make it to CIF playoffs.
He has been coaching at PVHS since 2010 and started the beach volleyball program for PVHS, both boys and girls, in 2012.

Paul Viggiano Jr.

This is Paul’s third time coaching at Palos Verdes High School, having previously coached JV boys and girls. Paul grew up locally, playing volleyball at Redondo Union High School and El Camino. He graduated from UCSB, class of 2021, and now works in El Segundo.

Volleyball has always been a big part of his life, and he is grateful to share his experience with the next generation of ballers!
